A choice of 6 convenient tape lengths minimizes costly wastage, and while other manufacturers use thinner tape for longer running times, all HHB DAT tapes are standard thickness with an advanced binder formulation to ensure consistently low block error rates. The precision engineered cassette shell discharges static quickly, resisting dust build-up, while a new improved design in the hub lock assembly creates a more efficient braking action, reducing tape slack when ejecting and hence providing better loading.
